The Kingdom of God works in Seed form and it always and only produces after It's Own Kind.
If you plant sunflower seeds, you will get sunflowers.
If you plant apple seeds, you will get an apple tree and it will produce apples. NOT Pecans!
If your apple tree produces pecans, guess what? It's not an apple tree. It's a pecan tree.
In
Luke 6:43-45,
NKJV, Jesus says, 43
“For
a Good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear Good
Fruit.
44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
45 A Good man out of the Good Treasure of his heart brings forth Good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
In Galatians
5, Paul verifies what the fruit of the flesh is and what
The Fruit of the Spirit is.
So
how does this apply to becoming free and sharing The Good News?
Sow patience. Reap patience. Sow kindness. Reap kindness. Sow goodness. Reap goodness.
Sow faithfulness. Reap faithfulness. Sow gentleness. Reap gentleness.
Sow self-control. Reap self-control.
If you sow freedom. You and others will reap freedom.
If you sow healing. You and others will reap healing.
And, if you sow The Good News. The Lost become found !
Always examine yourself to make sure you are planting The Fruit of The Spirit
and
Not the fruit of the flesh.
Because every seed you sow will produce after it's own kind.
1 Peter 1:22-25, NKJV, says, 22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying The Truth through The Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through The Word of God which lives and abides forever,
24 because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away,
25 But The Word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is The Word which by The Gospel was preached to you.
The
Word of God reveals that we were of a corruptible seed and now we're
of an Incorruptible Seed.
While
Galatians
4:24-25,
NLT, says, 24
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the
passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and
crucified them there.
25 Since we are living by The Spirit, let us follow The Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
Then we will see that we're called to sow every Seed in The Will of God
So, it will always produces after The Fruit of The Spirit.
When we share this undeserved free gift we call amazing grace.
We are sharing The Eternal Love of God
That was poured out for the Freedom of all mankind.
To restore our lost image, value, purpose, and identity.
In this way we have Co-union and
Communion with Jesus Christ in His death and Resurrection
In such a way that others might have the same. And this really is. The Good News!
Peter quotes and establishes Isaiah 53:5, NET in 1 Peter 2:24, ESV.
So we could know because of Jesus Wounds, we have been Healed.
Philippians
2:7, ESV shows us. Jesus
was Emptied.
Psalm 22:14, KJV, also shows us Jesus was Poured out.
And, we know He was poured out so we could be Filled.
We find in
Isaiah 52:14, NLT,
That Jesus was Disfigured and
made Unrecognizable.
And, we know He was made Unrecognizable so we could Become Recognizable again.
In
Mark 15:1, NKJV, Jesus was Bound.
And, we know He was Bound so we could be set Free.
In
Luke 22:63, NKJV, We see Jesus
was Beaten.
And, we know He was Beaten, so we could be Unbeatable.
In
Isaiah 53:5, NIV, We see Jesus
was Punished, so
that we could have Peace.
In
Luke 23:33, KJV, We see Jesus
was Crucified.
And, we know that He was Crucified so we could be Justified.
In
Matthew 27:46, and Psalm
22:1, KJV, We see the
Father Forsake Jesus.
In Psalm 22:1, NLT, It says Abandon. The Strong's Concordance says it is, to leave or depart from.
And,
We know The Father Forsook and Abandoned Jesus for a Moment,
So He could Behold us for an Eternity.
Ultimately we see in 2 Corinthians 5:15, and 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, NKJV,
That Jesus Died, so we could Live.
Communion or Co-Union with Jesus Christ is so much more than just something we do on any given Sunday. It's who we become through The Body and Blood. By understanding that Jesus Christ is the First Fruits of all creation.
Colossians 1:15, NKJV, says, 15 He is the image of the invisible God, The Firstborn over all creation.
Because He is and we have this Great Hope. We trade our body for His glorious Body and our blood for His glorious Blood. By burying our old self with Him and raise to New Life a New Creation with Jesus Christ.
We must know
There's a huge difference between knowing about God
and
Actually knowing God.
Communion or Co-Union with Jesus Christ is about intimacy, relationship,
and
So much more!
At the end of the day it doesn't matter how many Scriptures you memorize
Or
How many sermons you listen to before this dirt body hits the ground,
If it's just to know about Him.
In John 5:38-40,
NKJV, Jesus says, 38
But
you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him
you do not believe.
39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.
40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
What
can we learn from this teaching of Jesus?
We should
Never let Knowing about God, take the place of Knowing God!
and
The Word that matters Most is The Word that your Living and Walking Out.
