All to often people say things like.
Yeah,
but He's Jesus.
Or
No ones perfect. Well, You know. Except Jesus.
Or
Here's a classic.
Come on, give me a break. I'm only human!
You may be asking.
What's the point of this
or the questions and answers that follow?
Well I'm glad you asked!
Or
Anything similar to this excuse out of the way.
So we can get out of the way.
And,
Let The Way,
Jesus Christ Himself show us the way,
so we can show others The Way.

Corinthians 2:1-5,
NLT, says this,
2 When I first came to you, dear brothers and sisters,
I didn’t use lofty words and impressive wisdom to tell you God’s secret plan.
2 For I decided that while I was with you
I would forget everything except Jesus Christ,
The One who was crucified.
3 I came to you in weakness—timid and trembling.
4 And my message and my preaching were very plain.
Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches,
I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit.
5 I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom
but in the power of God.
With that being said. Let's begin.
First does God get tired and worn out from His travels?
Does God get
hungry?
Can God grow or
increase in stature or wisdom or find favor with Himself?
Does God ever
sleep?
Can God die?
Listen, these
questions should cause great thought or reflection!
human heart, human mind, and human will.
Except
He did not sin.
Ultimately, that
which He has not assumed, He has not healed.
In other words,
Jesus became fully man,
to attain everything fully for man.
In Galatians 4:4, we find,
Jesus was born of a woman, born under the law.
Jesus became flesh. John 1:14, Tells us,
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of The Only begotten of the Father,
full of grace and Truth.
Jesus became a slave,
taking on the likeness of men and was born a human being.
Philippians 2:7, NKJV, says,
7 but made Himself of no reputation,
taking the form of a bond servant,
and coming in the likeness of men.
Jesus grew up and became strong and filled with wisdom.
Luke 2:40, NKJV, says,
40 And the Child grew and became strong in spirit,
filled with wisdom;
and the grace of God was upon Him.
Luke
2:52,
NKJV, says,
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature,
and in favor with God and men.
Jesus became tired. John 4:6, NKJV, says,
6 Now Jacob’s well was there.
Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey,
sat thus by the well.
It was about the sixth hour.
Worn out from His journey, sat down at the well.
Jesus was hungry. Matthew 4:2, NKJV, says,
2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights,
afterward He was hungry.
Jesus
slept. Mark
4:38,
NKJV, says,
38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow.
And they awoke Him and said to Him,
“Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
Jesus had a human will.John 6:38, NKJV, says,
38 For I have come down from Heaven,
not to do My Own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
Jesus says, Not His will but, His Fathers will,
in Matthew 26:39, NKJV, says,
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face,
and prayed, saying,
“O My Father, if it is possible,
let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless,
not as I will, but as You will.”
Jesus had a human mind. Mark 13:32, NKJV, says,
32 “But of that day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels in heaven,
nor the Son, but only The Father.
Notice: ( Only The Father knew )
Jesus declares He is a man. John 8:40, NKJV, says,
40 But now you seek to kill Me,
a Man who has told you the Truth which I heard from God.
Abraham did not do this.
Hebrews
4:15,
NKJV, tells us,
15 For we do not have a High Priest
who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,
but was in all points tempted as we are,
yet without sin.
Jesus died. Luke 23:46, NKJV, says,
46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice,
He said,
“Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ”
Having said this, He breathed His last.
And, Philippians 2:8, NKJV, says,
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death,
even the death of the cross.
Ultimately, Jesus was born as a man.
But, He didn't fulfill the lust of the flesh.
He was filled with
the fullness of The Holy Spirit of God.
He walked in the
complete image, value, purpose,
and identity we were created and commissioned to walk in.
That through Him alone.
The great mystery was revealed.
So we can be made Righteous, Restored,
and
Redeemed.
Knowing That full of The Holy Spirit.
We're able to walk in His foot steps.
In complete relationship with
and
fully yielded to God.
In the fullness of God.
Not fulfilling the lust of the flesh.
But, instead,
pursuing The Will
And
Way of our Father God.
Are we able to take this first step
unto the next glory to glory.
Die to self,
bury the old self with Christ,
Rise with Christ, transformed, born again, yielded,
and
made into a new creation.
Full of The Holy Spirit and Fire
To live in constant communion
with The Father, The Son,
and
The Holy Spirit.
In complete freedom
from the condemnation of self and sin.
Learning from the quite place
and
Everyday relationship
to hear the voice of conviction
To keep us from those things
we long to no longer do.
and
Live as we know we can and should.
For in this place there is complete freedom.
Matthew 5:48, KJV, Jesus said,
48 Be ye therefore perfect,
even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.
Now, we may still be tempted by the flesh to say.
Yeah, But, He's still Jesus!
Well then, What
about Stephen?
We
see Stephen,
a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ in Acts 7:60, KJV,
60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice,
Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.
And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Stephen says, lay
not this sin to their charge.
While being beaten to death with rocks.
This is translated in the same way
as when Jesus cried out from the cross in Luke 23:34.
Luke 23:34, KJV, says,
34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them;
for they know not what they do.
And they parted His raiment, and cast lots.
Acts 7:55-56, KJV, says,
55 But he, being full of The Holy Ghost,
looked up steadfastly into heaven,
and saw The glory of God,
and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold,
I see the Heavens opened,
and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Acts 7:55-56, verifies that Steven saw Jesus
standing at the right hand of God before his death as a martyr for Christ.
I
like to think. This is because,
Jesus stands for those who stand for Him.
We also see Peter, Paul,
and
Many others give their lives
for this message of faith, hope, and love.
And,
Even though we may go through troubles
and
persecution,
it's our great privilege
and
Portion to share The Good News of Jesus Christ.
So
others may share
in the same Overwhelming Freedom, Victory,
and
Goodness we share in
and
Through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
