Image: Understanding our image.
In Genesis 1:26-28, NKJV, The Word of God says, 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis
2:7, NKJV:
says, 7
And
the Lord
God
formed man of
the
dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of
life; and man became a living being.
Genesis
5:1, NKJV says,
In
the day that God created man,
He
made him in the likeness of God.
Romans
8:29, NKJV,
Declares, 29
For whom He
foreknew, He
also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,
that He might be The Firstborn among many brethren.
1
Corinthians 15:49,
says, 49
And
as we have borne the image of the man
of
dust,
we
shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
2
Corinthians 3:18,
NKJV, says, 18
But
we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the
Lord, are
being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,
just as by The Spirit of The Lord.
Galatians
3:28, NKJV,

There
is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is
neither male nor female;
for
you are all one in Christ Jesus.

we are His workmanship,

who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created
him,

who
being the brightness of His
glory and The Express Image of His person,
and upholding all things by The Word of His power, when
He had by Himself purged our sins,
sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
James
3:9,
NKJV, says, With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse
men, who
have been made in the similitude of God.
This is a very true statement as long as it's the self that has died to you, so the real you can live.
It's the miracle of God that there's more than 7.5 billion people in the world and not even one of them are the same. Not even identical twins.
We're called, created, and uniquely made in the image of God
and
Even though the way is narrow,
He loves us all
and
The Holy Spirit of God waits for the restored children of God to speak The Word,
So others will hear the call of Christ crucified on the Cross of Calvary
To become a New Creation who's born again
and
Sanctified by the conviction of The Holy Spirit of God
and
His loving mercy and grace
As we choose to lead others to Christ Jesus,
So they can run their race free from condemnation
and
The crushing weight of self and sin.
Knowing Your Value

money.

He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
In

Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and
to give His life a ransom for many.”

being
justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Romans
5:8, NKJV,
says, 8
But
God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans
5:18, NKJV,
says, 18
Therefore,
as through one man’s offense
judgment
came
to
all men, resulting in condemnation, even
so through one Man’s righteous act the
free gift came
to all men, resulting in justification of life.
1 Corinthians 1:30, NKJV, Says, 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—

to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,

Galatians
3:13-14, NKJV,
Establishes, 13

has redeemed us from the curse of the law,

is everyone

blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus,
that we might receive the promise of The Spirit through faith.

13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for Good works.
1
John 3:16, NKJV, Proclaims, 16
By
this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.
And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
To redeem and restore His sons and daughters back into relationship with Him.
We're able to see and know God not only thinks we're priceless, He knows we're priceless!
We
can be certain of this because we know that no one pays that high of
a price for something that's worth nothing.
We know that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it and because of this,
This is the method we've always used to determine the value of something.
Someone might even be willing to pay a little bit more for something than it's worth.
But, at the end of the day, most people would prefer to pay less.
By paying less, we feel like we've received a good deal.
He
Paid the Ultimate Price and Set the Price as Priceless for Eternity.
Our value comes from the priceless price Jesus Christ paid on the cross
To redeem you back into relationship with The Father
and
Restore that which was lost.
You'll
be able to not only see you're priceless and created in the very
image of God.
But,
it's by this same standard you're able to know with absolute
certainty
That every person you'll ever meet has the same eternal value set by The Father.
One
price, One time, For all mankind.
|| Priceless ||

Your identity in Christ could be viewed as the sum total of the image that was lost and the price that was paid to get it back.
Image + Value = Identity
Jesus Christ
died and rose to restore the Image, Value, and Identity of the
Children of God.
Understanding who we are in Christ and becoming everything Jesus paid to restore leads to freedom from self and sin.
Remember, Jesus didn't say deny the devil, pick up your cross and follow Me.
He
said deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Me.
This is found in Matthew 16:24, Mark 8:34, and Luke 9:23.
Typically,
the problem isn't Satan, It's Self.
Although, it's very important to know
That we can become an easy target for the enemy,
If we look like Jesus and talk like Jesus
But, we personally don't know Jesus.
If we know who
He is but, we don't personally know Him. That is, who we are in
Christ and who Christ is in us. Then we open ourselves up to become
self-focused or even worse, we give the enemy a foot hold to find
fault and question who we are in Christ.
If this isn't handled properly, it could eventually shift our
focus to our failures or even worse cause us to question our faith.
This is why walking in your New Identity Daily is paramount to living a life worthy of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Then, because we are living from this understanding and His perspective
We're able to fulfill the first Great Commandment and the second,
Which is much like the first and ultimately,
We will find ourselves living The Great Commission
In our daily lives as a result of fulfilling The First Commandment.
In a practical and applicable way.
We will see The Will of God in seed form at work in our daily lives.
By simply
understanding.
Your thoughts are seeds that create actions and
Your actions are seeds that crate habits and
Your habits are seeds that create character and
Your character ultimately creates who you become.
Please keep in mind that all P.O.R.'s, Ice breakers,
and
Additional advanced P.O.R.'s given,
Should be applied in a natural
and
Normal way from your relationship with Jesus.
In other words, Be Yourself!
Because no one can replace the personal relationship you have with Jesus.
This information is meant to be a guide line to tie into your own personality and relationship with Jesus Christ. It's merely meant to highlight, encourage, and provoke thought about the various ways and situations The unfailing Word of God applies to our lives.
