Building Blocks for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ

Additional Advanced P.O.R. Building Blocks

This information is shorter in context on purpose.

In this way. It's not all spelled out for you.

So you can add these small P.O.R. Building Blocks over time

as you grow in sharing The Good News.

As we move forward with these P.O.R. building blocks,

there will be short examples of sharing The Good News

with other faiths, beliefs, and the conflicts that arise.

Ultimately, this information is meant to be a catalyst

that guides you as you step out in relationship

With Jesus Christ to impact the Kingdom of God

for the greater Good.

We need to understand that it's OK

to discuss and compel the lost.

Because, we're commanded to do so.

We must always listen to The Holy Spirit

and

Pay attention to the changes in the atmosphere.

We never want to find ourselves, keyword, Selves,

debating to win and in the process we actually lose.

We lose when we become

Self-focused, Self-defending, Offended, and the like.

Then because of Self, Offense, or Debate

we could possibly push someone further away from God.

Remember, sharing The Good News truly is a balancing act.

We know The Good News is offensive.

Even though it's hard to believe that such Good News could possibly be offensive.

We should always remember

that The Word of God in 1 Corinthians 1:18, NLT, says this,

18 The message of the cross is foolish

to those who are headed for destruction!

But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.

John 15:17-21, NLT, says,

17 This is my command: Love each other.

18 “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.

19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it,

but you are no longer part of the world.

I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.

20 Do you remember what I told you?

‘A slave is not greater than the master.’

Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you.

And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you.

21 They will do all this to you because of me,

for they have rejected the one who sent me.

What is our response to this?

It's the same response as Stevens in Acts 7:59-60, NKJV,

59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying,

“Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice,

“Lord, do not charge them with this sin.”

And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

And, this is the same response Jesus has in Luke 23:34, NKJV,

where The Word of God says,

34 Then Jesus said,

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Our response is Father forgive them, Because they don't know what they do.

How do we know this?

Because if they knew The Truth.

They would Never Say, Act, or Think the way they do.

So know matter what the faith, belief, or conflict is.

We should always offer prayer.

Prayer is the one thing a Christian can do

to open the door for God to do something different

Than all the others who simply debate and walk away.

And that is, Let God, Be God!

When we walk in forgiveness and set offense aside

We're able to love and see others for who God truly created them to be.

We never respond to persecution with sarcasm.

Like getting offended and saying something like. Well God loves you anyway!

Anything similar to this in context is unacceptable and should be avoided.

Deep down we know the Blessed shouldn't be Offended.

Because there is no Self to be Offended

and

When our motives are pure, it's not about us.

It's about God and His great plan.

Basically, if it's the opposite of The Fruit of The Spirit.

Like, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, envy, and the like.

Then take note. Because it's not The Good News.

The best way to not be offended, Is to not have a Self to be offended.

The best way to know when the flesh or Self is Offended

is to meditate on The Fruit of The Spirit.

Like, Love, Joy, Peace, Long suffering,

Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness,

and

Self-Control.

This way, you're always able to discern

whether you're walking in darkness or The Light.

Remember, God is a Giver! So be a Giver!

God loves to Give

and

He set the example with His Son Jesus Christ and the Cross.

So, we should also follow His example

and

look for opportunity's to Give and represent Him well.

Speaking of Giving.

Remember this when sharing The Good News. Don't give up so easily!

Compel when you sense it's appropriate and there's room for you to continue.

Think to yourself.

I would want someone to fight for me. So I'm going to fight for them.

We must always trust The Holy Spirit and The Word of God to be our guide.

Know and listen to The Holy Spirit about peoples comfort zones

and

Give people proper space when you talk with them.

Example: You and two friends approach one person.

Imagine how it may feel to have three complete strangers walk up to you.

Especially too close!

Really in this situation, it would be best to approach groups of two or more.

Or

Have one person hang back just a bit, but not awkwardly.

One person could even take a knee

if you sense the tension rising while someone else is talking.

Always be aware of the environment you're creating.

Think about it.

Have you ever met a close talker?

While they may have minty fresh breath.

It was probably very awkward to talk with them.

Every time you step back a foot, they step forward a foot and a half and so on.

Always be listening!

The moment you become a Christian,

you were qualified and called to share The Good News.

Not only that.

You should want to share The Good News.

It should be your great privilege and honor to give back the life that was so freely given for you.

We should want and hunger for a personal relationship

with The Holy Spirit of God

So that out of this overflow,

people are impacted by the love and Good News of Jesus Christ.

Luke 6:12-13, NKJV, says,

12 Now it came to pass in those days

that He went out to the mountain to pray,

and continued all night in prayer to God.

13 And when it was day,

He called His disciples to Himself;

and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:

Notice, Jesus didn't go to the Synagogue, a University,

or

Even ask around to find out who the brightest

and

most qualified people would be.

Jesus simply prayed and put His team together.

We know from Matthew 4:18-22,

that Peter, Andrew, James, and John were all fishermen

and

In Matthew 9:9, we find that Matthew was a tax collector.

The point is, they were all just normal people.

Living their normal lives.

Then they had a not so normal experience with Jesus Christ

and

Gave their normal lives up for this amazing message of faith, hope, and love.

We're all called to feed those who are hungry for God.

This means some will have questions. Try to answer there questions.

Some will listen intently because they're hungry for The Word. So give them The Word.

Ask questions,

Share with people,

Invite people to church,

Help people take their next steps with God,

Pray with people,

and

Teach people how to pray.

Really just be available to spend time

with those who show interest and appear to be hungry for God.

When you Choose to have the Perspective of Jesus,

You will find that Life is full of Choice Opportunities

and

Openings To Share The Good News.

Example: Someone says, Nice shoes.

Your response. Oh hey thanks, let me ask you a question.

Someone says, I like that hat.

Your response. Oh hey thanks, let me ask you a question.

Someone says, Can you believe this weather we're having?

Your response. I know right! Hey, let me ask you a question.

Basically any compliment or casual conversation

can be followed up with this type of Ice Breaker.

Percentages of those willing to listen.

Younger = Easier.

Older = Harder.

The reason for this percentage,

is the older you are, the more life you've lived

and

The more you begin to believe

what life says instead of what Truth says.

This tends to make people build walls.

While The Holy Spirit of God can tear down those walls.

It's just part of sharing The Good News

and

Good information for you to have.

You will find that with the advancement of technology

and

the internet.

It's also becoming harder to share The Good News

with the Younger as well.

As it creates many hurdles

and

Issues we must navigate in order to reveal

The Truth of The Good News.

This is why it's always a Good thing to remember.

God is the only one who brings the increase!

Always share The Good News clearly and concisely.

This way you are able to get to the meat or point.

But, always in patience and love!

Remember, the first thing love is, is patience and then kind.

So in order to love with no agenda we must know what love is.

And,

This is Found in 1 Corinthians 13.

Don't get caught up on Theology's, Doctrines, Denominations,

or even Abomination Denominations.

We're here to represent the love of God

and

Represent The Good News well.

We're sharing the reality of Jesus.

We're sharing Relationship, Revelation, Repentance, Restoration,

and

Righteousness with our Risen Savior Jesus Christ.

Understanding other faiths and beliefs

or

The lack there of will help you internalize information

and

Understand who you're talking with and how they think.

By understanding the foundation of their faith, belief, or lack there of.

You will be able to communicate The Good News more effectively.

One of the best ways to approach this,

is to simply ask them about what they believe,

even though you may already have an understanding.

It's good to listen anyway.

Never judge them.

And, make sure your focus never gets side tracked by these things.

We're not necessarily

trying to tear down their Faith, Belief, Church, Theology,

or lack there of.

The person is always way more important

than whatever they have become identified with.

Our motive is to open spiritually blind eyes to the Love and Glory of God

By representing Jesus well and replacing false teaching

or

False understanding with Truth and Freedom!

Always share from The Word of God and your Heart.

And, no matter what the outcome is.

Remember to Offer Prayer, Offer Prayer,

and

Did I mention to

Always Offer Prayer !!!

How to Renew your mind?

Luke 23:34, In The Word of God, Jesus Says, " Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." This is so POWERFUL on so many levels ! Isn't this how life is?  So many go around doing things without even knowing why. But on a deeper level. We might find that a life without Jesus, means a life without a TRUE relationship with our Heavenly Father. And this happens to be the case for many. Now if that's you well hang in here because your life will shift  dramatically by simply Clicking on the TAB that says Receiving Jesus ? But for now lets continue on. If we take the same stance as Jesus on the cross in every situation then it will change our life and perspective from earthly to heavenly. Here I will give a very simple explanation. Let me set the stage. You get up in the morning. Have a wonderful shower. It's a beautiful day. The birds are singing. You take a moment to collect your thoughts. Spend some time in your normal routine

How to Apply THE GOOD NEWS in real life

So, let's say you're given a playbook for a football or basketball game. Then you listen to the coach go over and over the material in it. But, all you do is listen, read, and memorize it. What will you do on game day seeing you have never held a football or basketball? You've never ran any practice drills. You haven't even played a scrimmage game. But hey, you've listened to the coach, read the playbook, memorized some plays, bought a pair of $100.00 shoes to match your uniform. You look like a football or basketball player. You even sound like one. The fact is, without applying the information to real life, you'll only reach a certain point. OK, let's say instead of a playbook, you're given a manual to learn Martial Arts. But, all you do is read the manual and listen to someone verbally teach it. How do you think your first match or tournament will go? How will you respond when you are physically attacked? To become someone who is skilled at

Created to Love and Called to Share

Opening Statement The information that's being given to you is presented in love to equip you, not to condemn you. For we know there's now no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  Romans 8:1 . If we become convicted, this is a good thing, because it's the love of our Heavenly Father  calling us to another level in our relationship with Him. The Word of God In 2 Peter 1:12-13, NLT, says, 12 Therefore, I will always remind you about these things—even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth you have been taught.   13 And it is only right that I should keep on reminding you as long as I live. Reminding you what? 2 Peter 1:1-11, NLT , 1 This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. 2 May God give you more and more grace and peace as you gro

Pure Motives, Love, & The Good News of Jesus Christ

In Philippians 1:15-18, we see some people share The Good News with pure motives and others from selfish ambition, jealousy, and with no sincerity. But, Paul still rejoiced because, The Good News was still being shared. The reality Paul was faced with is the same reality we're faced with today. Since there are so few set free and willing to walk in love rightly. He rejoiced in the fact that Something is better than nothing! Ultimately, we know we should have pure motives and love others with no agenda because this is the example Jesus set. In order for others to truly experience the love of Christ through us, We must represent Him well by setting our selfish motives and agenda's aside. In this way, people will see that you genuinely love and care about them. We must arrive at the place in our walk with Jesus that we fully understand this simple gesture. “ We will do a lot for love” What does this mean? Here's an Example: If my wife decided that I don't

The Great Commandment and The Great Commisson

First things First ! I'm writing this to Encourage The Church. If you have received Jesus then you're The Church. This information is not Provided to condemn anyone. It is intended to create freedom and spark a fire in all who have ears to hear. So before we begin. You must read and hear this information with the right ear. Because if you hear this information with the dirt body your living in. That is the flesh. Then you will likely become offended and only hear what you want to hear. Most will shut down. Unable to hear with the right ear. The ear that hears the Love of God and The last Commands of Jesus before leaving this dirt earth. But I will continue on for those who can set their earth suits aside and hear with the right ear. As you move forward you just might step into a level of freedom you have never known before. If you're still with me then lets begin.. Did you know that only 95% of all CHRISTIANS live their entire LIFE as a Christian Without ever leading even o

The Basics of Sharing The GOOD NEWS and Gospel of Jesus Christ

When sharing The Good News,  we don't always have to come up with a different way to share it with different people. The Good News is Powerful, Unchanging, and True every time we share it and each person we share it with may have never heard the Powerful, Unchanging, Truth of The Good News we're sharing. The goal is to share The Good News with each person like it's the first time, Even though you may have spoken the same Words thousands of times. Keep in mind that your way of presenting The Good News will grow over time. There will be many Building Blocks that will be added to your Foundation. But, the most important One is The Cornerstone, Jesus Christ. We must first build this Foundation and everything else will happen over time. Then, you will find out of the abundance of your heart Luke 6:45, Matthew 12:34, Proverbs 4:23, and Proverbs 10:11 , that words will flow in and out of you with the compassion and love of Jesus. The Basics of Sharing The Gospel of Jesus Christ Continued and The Foundation for Your P.O.R. or Point of Reference

Note : We never put God in a box when sharing The Good News . There's no particular way to share The Good News as long as it's always The Good News . This P.O.R. is just what it says it is. It's a Point of Reference. In Romans 10:9-10 We see that God gave His Son to gain His sons and daughters and we find that Romans 10:9 is one of the closest Scriptures we have to a prayer of Salvation. In Genesis 1:26-28 We see our Image, Dominion and Authority and Similarities between us and God in regards to confessing or speaking. In John 3:15-16 We see that God paid the priceless price of His Son to show His Love to the world. Simply put, God wants a relationship with His Children and paid a high price to prove it. I n Romans 6:4-5 We see that those who are buried with Christ are also Raised from the dead in the likeness of Christ. We see that He has Power over life and death. Note: Genesis 1:26-28,

The Humanity of Jesus and Sharing The Good News

All to often people say things like. Yeah, but He's Jesus. Or No ones perfect. Well, You know. Except Jesus. Or Here's a classic. Come on, give me a break. I'm only human! You may be asking. What's the point of this or the questions and answers that follow? Well I'm glad you asked! The point is to get the, I'm only human, Nobody's perfect, and I'm not Jesus excuse Or Anything similar to this excuse out of the way. So we can get out of the way. And, Let The Way, Jesus Christ Himself show us the way, so we can show others The Way. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, NLT, says this, 2 When I first came to you, dear brothers and sisters, I didn’t use lofty words and impressive wisdom to tell you God’s secret plan. 2 For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, The One who was crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness—timid and trembling. 4 And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rath
